Job description

Melanie is an Associate Director at the UK Data Archive and is overall director of the Ingest and Secure Lab functions of the UK Data Service. She also directs the Administrative Data Service,  the overarching coordinating service of the Administrative Data Research Network announced in October 2013. Her responsibilities for UK Data Service cover activities of data ingest, metadata creation and standards implementation, secure data analysis and statistical disclosure control. For the Administrative Data Service, she is responsible for communications and public engagement, resource discovery, negotiations for data access, and establishment of cross-stakeholder protocols for researcher and research accreditation, data security, and statistical disclosure control.
