We are funded by UK Research and Innovation through the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), and, as lead partner delivering the UK Data Service, we bring together several important past ESRC investments including the Economic and Social Data Service, Census Programme and Question Bank.

As advocates of the reuse of data for research, we get additional funding to collaborate with other universities and archives on specific projects.
