Resources
We provide guidance and training on managing research data through publications, workshops and webinars.
We deliver a variety of data skills training sessions for early career researchers at the University of Essex, as part of the Newcomers programme and our experts frequently deliver the Summer Schools.
Our book, Managing and Sharing Research Data: a guide to good practice, was commissioned and published by Sage, and we have delivered our training courses in Europe, the USA, China, India, Taiwan and Krygyzstan.
Through the UK Data Service, we offer further training, webinars and access support to help you gain the data analysis skills you need to produce research with real impact.
We are also responsible for:
- Advice on creating, preparing, storing and sharing data on the UK Data Service website
- Research data handling and security guide for users (PDF)
- Managing and Sharing Data Training Resources (PDF)
- Managing and Sharing Data Guide (PDF)
